Korean Bone Broth Pop-up with Heart & Seoul Provisions

The evening will introduce Heart & Seoul Provisions' Korean-style bone broth through a limited menu designed around the most classic way to eat it: with rice. Along with two types of kimchi that perfectly complement the dishes with tang and zest, the menu will feature Korean-style bone broth four different ways.

Join Simone Ver Eecke @thyme.space, one half of Tile Table Supper Club and founder of Thyme/Space, for an evening of culinary alchemy at Farm to People Kitchen & Bar. Skin the Color of Soil: Black Earth Wisdom with Leah Penniman
Saturday, March 18 4pm With her new anthology, Black Earth Wisdom, co-founder of Soul Fire Farm and Farming While Black author, Leah Penniman reminds us that ecological humility is an intrinsic part of Black cultural heritage. While racial capitalism has attempted to sever our connection to the sacred earth for 400 years, Black people have long seen the land and water as family and understood the intrinsic value of nature.
MOFAD is thrilled to welcome Leah and Farm School NYC director Onika Abraham to Farm to People in Brooklyn for a conversation about the Black food justice activists who are reviving their ancestral and ancient practice of listening to the earth for guidance. Penniman makes clear that the fight for racial and environmental justice demands that people put our planet first and defer to nature as our ultimate teacher.

Cumpà Wine Launch
Friday, February 3rd 5-9pm Be the first to taste 3 vintages from Cumpà, a new Italian wine project from Natural Winemaker Marco Salerno.
In search of heritage and authenticity, Cumpà spotlights hardworking vignaioli who grow local grapes and cultivate vineyards guided by tradition and nature. They produce wine from regions across Calabria, Italy that reflect the diverse landscape. Cumpà wines are made with organic grapes, using natural fermentation, and are based on local winemaking customs.
